SEC 13F filings

Superinvestor portfolios

The disclosed portfolios of 20 well-known investors, from the quarterly SEC 13F filings of the firms they founded or lead: each filer's most recent stored quarter, with values and quarter-over-quarter changes — every figure sourced to the filing and dated to its quarter-end. Filers report on their own schedules, so the latest quarter differs per row. 13F positions are as of quarter-end, filed up to 45 days later.

Definition

A 13F filing is a quarterly SEC disclosure required of institutional investment managers with at least $100M in US-listed equity assets. It lists the manager's long US equity positions as of quarter-end and must be filed within 45 days of that date.

Frequently asked questions

What is a superinvestor portfolio page?

Each page shows the portfolio a well-known investor's firm disclosed in its quarterly SEC Form 13F-HR: reported US-listed positions with values, plus quarter-over-quarter changes. Flock tracks 20 such investors, each mapped to the firm they lead or founded, with every figure sourced to the filing and dated to its quarter-end.

How current are 13F portfolios?

13F positions are as of quarter-end and filed up to 45 days later, so they are never current holdings. The newest stored quarter across tracked filers is Q2 2026. Flock re-checks SEC EDGAR daily and re-stamps pages when new filings land.

Do 13F filings show an investor's whole portfolio?

No. A 13F covers a firm's long US-listed equity positions above the SEC's reporting thresholds. It excludes short positions, most bonds, non-US listings, and personal accounts outside the firm's reported holdings — so a 13F is a window into the disclosed long book, not a complete picture.
